DAY ONE

Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Lincolnshires Barn Hotel & Spa. 4 nights stay - dinner, bed, and breakfast. Tea/Coffee & biscuits on arrival.

DAY TWO

Our first stop today is Oakham, with stylish boutiques and exclusive little gift shops are a delight. Later we head along the edge of Rutland Water to enjoy a relaxing cruise on the ‘Rutland Belle’ to round off the day.

DAY THREE

For our first outing, we head to Melton Mowbray for market day. The town has a royal heritage dating back to Richard the Lionheart, and is home to Stilton, Red Leicester Cheese, and the famous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie. Head inside Melton Carnegie Museum to see on original pie oven, grab a pie at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, or visit the Anne of Cleves pub. In the afternoon we head to Belvoir Castle, chosen to represent Windsor Castle in Netflix’s hit series ‘The Crown’. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the castle followed by time to explore the beautiful, landscaped gardens at leisure.

DAY FOUR

Today we drive to the historic city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral, and Norman Castle next door. The old town is a labyrinth of little alleyways and interesting shops to explore - with plenty of tea rooms for refreshments.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
