DAY ONE 

Depart from your home area in the morning, arriving late afternoon at Shrigley Hall Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea/Coffee on arrival.

DAY TWO

We begin with a visit to Dunham Massey. Dating back to 1732, with a fine collection of furniture, paintings and silver and stunning gardens with a moat and orangery. This afternoon we are at Arley Hall Gardens, one of the finest in the country, created over 250 years by successive generations now one of Cheshire’s ‘Gardens of Distinction’.

DAY THREE

The day starts with a drive into the historic city of Chester. The day is then free for you to explore. The unique 2 storey ‘Rows’ of shops are worth a look, or you may fancy a gentle stroll to the River Dee for a boat trip. Take a walk around the ancient Roman Walls or just relax in the city.

DAY FOUR

This morning we make our way south to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, home to the Cholmondeley family since the 12th century. The vast gardens offer a romantic setting with stunning views as well as lakeside and woodland walks. In the afternoon we visit the magnificent Tatton Park. This stunning, historic estate is set in over 1000 acres of Cheshire Parkland, with a classical mansion, 50 acres of garden, including Japanese, Walled and Formal Gardens.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we begin our journey home.

The Shrigley Hall Hotel sits in over 250 acres of countryside in the village of Pott Shrigley, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Facilities include leisure centre, indoor swimming pool, Courtyard Bar and lounge. Rooms are ensuite with TV, phone, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities. The hotel has a lift.
