DAY ONE

Depart from your home area travelling to Suffolk, arriving late afternoon at the Best Western Ipswich Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast. Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival. Two evenings of entertainment during your stay.

DAY TWO

This morning we drive to Woodbridge. This historic riverside market town boasts some of the best restaurants, pubs, and shopping in the coastal area. The working tide mill is an attraction well worth a visit. In the afternoon, we travel to Ipswich, England’s oldest continuously inhabited towns, and home to world-class culture, food, and drink.

DAY THREE

Our day takes us to Lavenham, one of the UK's most beautiful medieval villages. We stop in the town where you can see the independent stores and unique architecture. This afternoon we visit Bury St Edmunds. Take a stroll through history, explore, shop or take in the peaceful atmosphere.

DAY FOUR 

We head through the countryside to Aldeburgh, another picturesque coastal town on the Suffolk coast. The town is well known for its shingle beach and fisherman huts. It boasts two fish & chip shops said to be among the best in the UK. A perfect place to enjoy lunch perhaps! Then, we head to Southwold, a charming seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, home to a working lighthouse, a cliff-top cannon, award-winning pier, colourful beach huts, and harbour.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
