DAY ONE

Depart from your home area in the morning and travel to Devon. Arrive late afternoon at the Royal Bideford Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival.

DAY TWO 

Today, we visit RHS Rosemoor– an award-winning gem nestled in the Torridge Valley. This delightful garden blends formal and informal plantings to magical effect. Explore the rose gardens, the long borders and the exotic gardens. From here we have free time around the ancient seaport of Bideford, delightfully set on the banks of the River Torridge.

DAY THREE

Our first stop this morning is the picturesque resort of Lynmouth where we have time to explore the narrow streets, maybe take the cliff railway to the twin village of Lynton. From here we make our way through scenic ‘Little Switzerland’, as the region is known, to the lovely village of Dunster, with its famous castle and octagonal Yarn Market. We have time in the popular seaside resort of Minehead before our return takes us through Exford and the Exmoor National Park.

DAY FOUR

This excursion takes us to the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe. Discover a quaint quayside and harbour, whitewashed villas, lovely beaches, coastal paths, and an abundance of cafes and shops.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
