DAY ONE

Depart from your home area and travel to East Sussex, arriving late afternoon at the Best Western York House Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast.

DAY TWO

We start today with a visit the pretty village of Alfriston. Before continuing through the countryside, before we arrive in Brighton. We spend the rest of the day in Regency Brighton, renowned for its quirky shops in the famous ‘Lanes’ and cosmopolitan outlook. On our way back we follow the South Coast’s beaches and cliffs taking in breathtaking views over the sea, passing Newhaven and Beachy Head Lighthouse.

DAY THREE

Today is a free day in Eastbourne. One of England’s best-loved seaside resorts, with its elegant seafront terraces, promenades, and immaculate gardens. Enjoy a seafront stroll, explore the town, or watch the world go by.

DAY FOUR

Our day starts with a ride through the pleasant Sussex countryside to the village of Bodiam. Here, we join the Kent and East Sussex Railway for a delightful steam train ride to Tenterden, a lovely little town with tea rooms, ideal for lunch. After, we head for the South Coast where we visit historic Hastings. Perhaps enjoy a walk through the Warrior Square Gardens, along the seafront, or visit Hastings Pier.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
