For this tour we stay near Chester, with three contrasting days out including scenic Conwy Valley and Llangollen, enjoy a day in historic Chester itself with a sightseeing cruise, and head to the seaside for a day in Llandudno, North Wales.

DAY ONE

Depart from your home area in the morning for Cheshire to arrive late afternoon at Beaufort Park Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed and breakfast. Tea & Bara Brith on arrival. Includes two nights of hotel entertainment.

DAY TWO 

A drive through the pleasant countryside brings us to Chester for the day. The historic city offers lots to see and do. Explore the unique ‘Rows’ of two-tiered shops or take a stroll around the City Walls. Meander down to the River Dee and maybe enjoy lunch in a riverside pub. Later, we enjoy a sightseeing cruise on the river with commentary about the local area and its history.

DAY THREE 

Today we enjoy a scenic drive along the North Wales coast to Llandudno. North Wales’ premier resort is guarded by the bulk of the Great Orme and you can catch a cable car up to enjoy stunning views. Take in the sea air with a stroll along the wide promenade or enjoy some retail therapy in the main shopping street which runs parallel to the seafront. Later, we head over the river to historic Conwy, home to the impressive castle overlooking the bay.

DAY FOUR

We are off across the Denbighshire Moors this morning to the pretty Vale of Conwy, Llanrwst, and Betws-y-Coed. We take a break here with time for lunch before we ride through the pretty countryside to Llangollen, in the Dee Valley. We have time to look around before returning across the spectacular Horseshoe Pass.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
