DAY ONE 

Depart from your home area travelling to Shropshire and arrive late afternoon at Mercure Telford. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast.

DAY TWO

Today we take a ride south to Stokesay Castle -the best fortified manor house in Britain. It is a survivor of 700 years of border and civil wars and its buildings are complete and breath-taking. Leaving here we head for Ludlow, a medieval town with an imposing castle at the top of the town square. The town has much to offer.

DAY THREE

This morning we head to Shrewsbury - packed with timber framed black and white buildings amongst narrow alleyways surrounded by the River Severn. Here we enjoy a cruise on the River Severn and we have chance to explore the town and obtain lunch. Our afternoon visit takes us to the impressive Ironbridge Gorge where the world’s first iron bridge forms the centre of this World Heritage Site. Here we go back in time at Blists Hills Victorian Town. An open-air museum recreating life in a Victorian town.

DAY FOUR

This morning we head to Bridgnorth. Here we join the famous Severn Valley Railway for a ride along the beautiful Severn Valley, on the way to Kidderminster. Enjoy some free time to explore this large market town, a key location of many famous speeches at the town hall.  After time here we have a short ride to Bewdley for free time to have a look around before the journey back to our hotel.

DAY FIVE

After breakfast, we begin our journey home.
