DAY ONE
Depart from your home area travelling to Aberfoyle, arriving late afternoon at the Rob Roy Hotel. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed & breakfast. With two nights of entertainment.
DAY TWO - “Christmas Day”
Our day begins with a ride to marvel at the Kelpies - the largest equine sculpture in the world, standing at 100ft tall. Later, we head to explore the city of Stirling, with its famous castle and interesting range of shops, cafes and pubs. We return to our hotel to enjoy Christmas Dinner, followed by dancing and gifts from Santa.
DAY THREE – “Hogmanay Day”
Today we visit Balloch, an enchanting village on Loch Lomond. Offering fantastic shopping and dining experiences, Balloch also has a variety of attractions, such as the Sea Life Aquarium, Bird of Prey Centre, and the Maid of the Loch, a 1953 paddle steamer. We return to the hotel for Hogmanay Dinner and live music this evening.
DAY FOUR - “New Year’s Day”
Today starts with a scenic tour of the Trossachs. We begin with Callander - a wee highland town and a great place for Scottish souvenirs. The Trossachs Woollen Mill has a highland cows for the public to enjoy. Afterward, we continue along Loch Venachar and Loch Achray on our way to Aberfoyle, home of the Scottish Wool Centre, where shepherds may be showing their herding skills.
DAY FIVE
After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
