DAY ONE
Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Harrogate to arrive late afternoon at the Old Swan Hotel. 3 nights stay– dinner, bed & breakfast.
DAY TWO
After a leisurely breakfast, we head for Harewood House, one of the Treasure Houses in the heart of Yorkshire with an impressive art and furniture collection, all combined with 100 acres of gardens and a renowned lakeside Bird Garden. Later we return to Harrogate where the rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. Perhaps take a stroll through the beautiful Valley Gardens followed by some retail therapy in the delightful Victorian Westminster Arcade or Montpellier Quarter. You could even visit the famous ‘Betty’s Tearooms’.
DAY THREE
Our day takes us into the Yorkshire Dales, travelling over the moorland until we arrive at Grassington. We have a chance to enjoy a stop here to enjoy the quaint cobbled market town and perhaps have a hot drink. We then drive to the pretty village of Pateley Bridge to stop at the Nidderdale Museum, showing life in Nidderdale over the past 200 years, displayed in their original settings such as the parlour, shop and schoolroom, from all thing’s agriculture to leisure and transport to costume.
DAY FOUR
After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
